Coding, Sewing and Training

These were quick to whip up. From one bag, I was able to make three small grow bags – it was supposed to be 4 but I burned one because I made a mistake of thinking I could iron it. LOL

Today has been a very packed day! Drove the kids to school, picked up some more seedling trays from Home Depot, transplanted some seedlings into larger pots, did a 4-hr training for my new job as a Teacher Ambassador for ָAgscape, had an intro lesson to coding with Python (thanks to Canada Learning Code), upcycled some reusable bags that are not being used or have rips in them.

It’s amazing how productive one can be when there’s no one around! Although I have to say that I miss having everyone home.

More resuable bags to upcycle! This is a fun project and I cut the straps up to make smaller straps.

In the bags above, I have tatsoi (started from seed and sitting in a Kratky hydroponic jar previously), a sweet basil (purchased from Pusateri months ago and rooted in water), and lastly leeks (store bought and rooted in soil). Aren’t these cute?

Tonight, I’ve got more bags to make and I will share those when they are finished on Instagram. Be sure to check back!

Off to make dinner now (frozen pizza)! Thanks for stopping by.
