For some people, it might still not be warm enough to start planting anything in their garden. For me, I’ve had seedlings in the garden since April 14. I like to defy the odds. When they say it’s still too cold to plant anything in the garden, I do it anyway! I’ve had tomato seedlings growing since late February!

So, you might be wondering who this cutie patio tie is in the photo above. May I introduce to you our newest family member – Monty Lee-Vaisman! He’s 9 weeks old and is a cockapoo. We have been so blessed with him being crate and mostly potty trained! When we take him to potty outside around 6:45 am, we go visit the chooks and let them out into the run for the day. It’s part of our morning routine.

Speaking of the chooks, the girls have started laying eggs! So far, the pattern has been every other day. And guess what? We got another one ! For comparison, the eggs are smaller but the yolks are more vibrant than the store bought ones.

The garden is now in full swing! All the fruit trees and shrubs have blossomed and fruits are visible. It’s so exciting to see all the growth and look forward to the harvest. All the raised beds have been filled and look full!

This year, with early planning, I managed to grow many plant starts. With over 20 varieties of tomatoes, 9 varieties of peppers, and many flowers, I’m well prepared for this growing season!

Well, that’s all for now! If you are reading this and you have some questions about growing or seeds in general, I’d love to hear from you!
Happy growing!!!
